In October 2010, Erwin Meier-Albrecht and Katja Pfaff met for the first time to discuss the next issue of «Schweizer Pflanzenfreund» for 2011, the first for Katja Pfaff: Mr. Meier-Albrecht as a dynamic product range innovator with many ideas and his team of division managers behind him; Ms. Pfaff as a creative, expeditious and flexible visualization manager with a team of colleagues from Media Concept Switzerland at her side.
The monthly publication cycle of the «Schweizer Pflanzenfreund» for many years and later the regular publication of the «Bestseller», requires an effective and dynamic way of working. It is no exaggeration to say that Erwin Meier-Albrecht and Katja Pfaff understand each other blindly: short discussions and a few telephone calls and the edition is ready.
The «Meier's Bestseller» also informs customers about necessary work in the garden, inspires them with many tips and, last but not least, draws their attention to special offers. A particular strength is the linking of the monthly offers with the point-of-sale. Many customers bring the publication they find in their mailbox to the garden center and ask specifically for the plant innovation, the fertilizer or the technical garden helper.
In a small «celebration minute» at the end of a meeting, the owner of Media Concept Schweiz AG, Ralf Benger, congratulated warmly with a gift basket to this round anniversary. Erwin Meier-Albrecht and Katja Pfaff are already looking forward to their joint work and the many exciting articles in 2022.
